If you are looking for a business hotel, this recently renovated property with a well done décor is a good choice. The hotel is about 50 years old but it has a bright fresh look. The sleeping rooms have large comfortable beds and nice bathrooms with full bathtubs.

  • Rooms were small - Extra linens and extra towels - Night life is quite great
  • Nice location - Old rooms - Staff was professional
  • Convenient to bank - No internet service - Fantastic location

Spacious room comparatively for the price.

Lack of security - you don't need a hotel key card to get into the elevator. Also flight of stairs leading up to the entrance of hotel - difficult access when you've got pieces of large luggage.

All the staff were very helpful and courteous as you expect in Japan. The room was kept very clean with bed linen and all towels changed every day. The comfort of the room was compromised as it was small which is the style in Tokyo although it was advertised as a Double Superior. Their was insufficent hanging space for our clothes but we were there for 9 nights. Overall good vfm and good location.

Very good location! Just a few minutes from Shimbashi station and metro. Ginza and Yurakucho stations are near as well. Many restaurants and 24h.minimarts are around. Big kettle in room, internet and flat screen tv

Everything is a little shabby, but to be honest - everything is clean!

located in Ginza, very international & expensive area, could have been anywhere else in the world. My room was very small and located on the back side if the hotel, it smelled fried oil from the restaurants nearby.

I find some of the staffs at reception were very friendly and helpful.

It was not convenient that the airport transfer service from Narita does not stop at this hotel.

Quick walk from Shimbashi station on the JR line. Was relatively the cheapest option in proximity to central Tokyo and hence we chose this.

Didnt live up to the Nikko brand. They rate themselves as 4star, but the rooms are old and fairly small. We visited in October, and they had switched off the airconditioning unit due to which the room was fairly stuffy. They provided us a pedestal fan instead. We were quite uncomfortable as a result. Would rather put in some extra money and stay in a newer property.

The hotel is located just few minutes walk from the jr station Shimbashi, my room (superior single) was convenient and quiet.

Really good location. Room was bigger than expected, pleasantly surprised. Good sized bathroom also. Thermos for heating water in room, instead of kettle, took a bit of getting used to but was ok after awhile.

No wireless Internet available in the whole hotel.

The location was ok if it was not raining and if you have light luggage. Some staff were ok.

Some of the staff at reception were not very helpful. One did not even bother to understand what I was saying until I said something in Japanese and then suddenly everything else I said in English became clear to him. On checkout day it was raining heavy so I asked a young female staff what is the best way to get to the train station and she utter something that I could not understand so I asked her to please say again but instead she keep saying to me to repeat myself and threw her hands in the air both palms facing upwards. I think the gesture is pretty rude. Then her supervisor came and asked if she could help and asked me if I would like to pay for the umbrellas as taxis may not be willing to send us over the short distance. In the end I stood in the rain to flag down a taxi myself, and paid a nice tip to the taxi for his good service picking up and dropping my luggage off in the rain. If you can help it, please try to stay somewhere else.
